  For years, I sat on the 'other side' of the desk as a Special Needs Officer. I’ve seen the SEND system from the inside out—I know how Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) are drafted, how Local Authorities make decisions, and exactly where the administrative bottlenecks happen.

But I also saw something else: The Exhaustion.

I saw brilliant SENCOs buried under mountains of paperwork instead of supporting their staff. I saw dedicated parents reduced to tears by 40-page forms and 'red tape.'

I realised that advice isn't always enough. Sometimes, you just need someone who knows the system to pick up the pen and do the work.
